Operations Manager

Ultimate Cheer is looking for an organised and proactive Operations Manager to manage our staff and customers. This is a part\-time role (ideally 3\-4 hours/day) with flexible hours, perfect for someone experienced in management, communications and business performance. We’re looking for someone reliable, friendly, and excited to be part of a growing and positive community long\-term.

About Ultimate Cheer

Ultimate Cheer is an All Star Cheerleading team located in London. Our dedicated training facility in Clapham offers a wide range of Cheerleading, Tumbling, and Dance classes for individuals of all ages and abilities, including both adult and kids' teams aged 3 and above. At Ultimate Cheer, we prioritise fostering a supportive, welcoming, and positive environment. Our aim is to develop well\-rounded athletes who can carry the valuable lessons they learn from cheerleading throughout their lives.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Manage staff and coordinate with various teams to ensure the smooth running of the club

  • Oversee the management of club members to ensure a positive experience

  • Overseeing club performance and leading strategy to drive growth

  • Oversee staff recruitment and training

  • Manage payroll

  • Maintain a positive, inclusive club culture.

  • Act as a central point of accountability for the smooth running of the club.

  • Ensure compliance with club policies
Required skills and qualifications:
  • A positive and inclusive attitude that aligns with our club's ethos and values.

  • Management experience required

  • Confident decision\-making and problem\-solving

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment

  • Strong initiative and exceptional organisational skills

  • Proficiency in G Suite tools, including Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.

  • Previous experience in cheerleading is not required.

  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (we can help you get not if needed).
