Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee daily business activities and ensure the smooth functioning of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in management across retail or sales environments. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service delivery
- Manage and motivate teams, fostering a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership
- Oversee sales and merchandising activities, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with various departments to streamline processes and optimise resource utilisation
- Maintain organisational standards through rigorous adherence to policies, procedures, and health \& safety regulations
- Manage administrative tasks including reporting, scheduling, and maintaining records
- Ensure excellent phone etiquette and professional communication with clients, suppliers, and staff
- Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Proven management experience, preferably within retail or sales management sectors
- Supervising experience with a strong focus on team management and leadership development
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative functions
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency in organisational tools such as MS Office suite; experience in administrative roles is desirable
- Previous experience in customer service roles emphasising phone etiquette and professional interaction
Pay: £12\.75 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in London E14
