Role Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead and support our installation teams, including our surveyors, fitters and subcontractors.
This is a key role for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems and improving how things are done. You’ll need a strong trade background, preferably plumbing, together with the confidence and experience to manage people and installation work.
You’ll work closely with our teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support our surveyors, fitters and subcontractors
- Support fitter welfare, training and development
- Ensure the business has the right labour resource to meet its needs
- Provide support on complex technical and project issues
- Maintain high standards of health \& safety and compliance
- Help maintain high standards of service and project delivery
- Help keep our installation work running efficiently and commercially
- Build and maintain strong operational client relationships
- Work with the wider operations team to help improve how we work
Essential
- Strong trade background, preferably plumbing
- Experience managing field\-based teams and subcontractors
- Good technical knowledge of installation works
- Good knowledge of health \& safety and compliance
- Strong people management and problem\-solving skills
- Good commercial awareness
- Confident, practical and solutions\-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
- Experience within bathroom, kitchen or wider home improvement installations
- Salary dependent upon experience
- 22 days holiday \+ bank holidays
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
