Outlook Energy Solutions is growing its Boiler Upgrade Scheme and renewable heating operation and is looking for an experienced BUS \& Renewables Operations Manager to join the team.

This is a key role within the business, helping to coordinate the customer journey from survey through to installation and scheme completion.

You’ll work closely with our surveyors, design team, installers and office staff to make sure each job progresses smoothly and customers are kept informed throughout.

Main responsibilities

• Manage BUS jobs from completed survey through to installation and completion


• Coordinate surveys, designs, customer paperwork, voucher applications and installation dates


• Keep job records and CRM/Spruce information up to date


• Liaise with surveyors and the technical team regarding heat\-loss calculations, radiator requirements, ASHP and cylinder selections


• Arrange revisits where further information is required


• Keep customers updated throughout the process


• Coordinate installers, electricians and subcontractors


• Make sure the required documentation is in place for MCS and BUS submissions


• Monitor job progress and help ensure work is completed efficiently


• Produce simple weekly updates on the status of live jobs

The person we’re looking for

Experience in one or more of the following areas would be ideal:

• Boiler Upgrade Scheme


• MCS


• Air source heat pumps


• ECO or GBIS


• PAS 2030 / PAS 2035


• Renewable energy installations


• Heating or construction operations

We’re looking for someone who is organised, confident and comfortable managing a number of live jobs at the same time.

You should be comfortable communicating with customers, surveyors and installers and be able to work well as part of a growing team.

Experience using Spruce would be a strong advantage, although experience with similar CRM or job management systems would also be considered.

There is a good opportunity for the right person to grow with the business as our renewable energy operation expands.

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 depending on experience
