Job Title: Operations Manager
Overview
We are looking for a proactive and hands\-on Operations Manager to lead our internal Head Office teams while taking full ownership of the supply chain and stock control function.
This role is central to ensuring smooth day\-to\-day operations across customer services, warehouse, and fulfilment, alongside maintaining strong stock accuracy, product availability, and an efficient, well\-managed supply chain.
The ideal candidate will combine strong people management skills with a detail\-driven and analytical approach to stock and supply chain management, supported by a practical understanding of systems and basic IT troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Team \& Operational Management
- Manage and oversee Head Office Teams, such as customer services, warehouse, and fulfilment.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members to ensure high performance and accountability
- Ensure smooth day\-to\-day operational workflows across all departments
- Implement and improve processes to drive efficiency, service levels, and output
- Take full ownership of the supply chain, including purchasing, supplier management, and logistics coordination
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and cost efficiency
- Oversee inbound shipments and timelines to maintain continuity of stock
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Own all stock control processes, ensuring high levels of accuracy across the business
- Manage inventory levels and forecasting to balance availability and working capital
- Lead monthly stock reconciliation and investigate discrepancies
- Continuously improve stock control procedures and systems
- Produce and analyse monthly stock and operational reports
- Track key KPIs including stock accuracy, fulfilment performance, and service levels
- Use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Support and maintain internal systems (e.g. ERP/stock systems such as Odoo)
- Act as first\-line support for basic IT troubleshooting
- Liaise with external IT providers where required
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, automation, and operational efficiency
Essential
- Proven experience in Supply Chain Manager or similar role
- Strong experience in stock control and inventory management
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel or similar)
- Ability to take ownership of both people and process\-driven functions
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Odoo or similar)
- Experience managing supply chains in a product\-based business
- Basic IT troubleshooting capability
- Experience improving operational processes or implementing systems
- Experience across warehouse, fulfilment, or customer service environments
- Hands\-on and proactive
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
- Solutions\-focused with a continuous improvement mindset
- Able to balance strategic thinking with day\-to\-day execution
- Clear communicator across teams and suppliers
Pay: £40,000\.00 per year
