Job Overview
The Operations Manager is responsible for implementing and maintaining high standards across multiple sites, including housekeeping, team management and day\-to\-day operational performance. The role acts as a key onsite contact for brands, supports compliance and safety, and ensures issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations \& Standards
- Take ownership of day\-to\-day site activities and maintain consistently high operating standards.
- Be responsible for the overall cleanliness and presentation of each site, both internally and externally, carrying out general cleaning duties when required.
- Ensure the facilities team completes all required daily and weekly checks and records them on the relevant platform.
- Action required works following regular monthly site audits.
- Understand repair and maintenance (R\&M) costs and respond proactively, particularly to minor repairs and recurring issues.
- Arrange equipment installation and kitchen improvements where applicable.
- Take responsibility for site Health \& Safety.
- Monitor the status of managed properties and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Ensure security and emergency procedures are robust and followed at all times, taking an active role during emergency situations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements covering Health \& Safety, Food Safety and Pest Control.
- Ensure brands comply with waste management requirements and collection procedures, taking action where necessary.
- Act as the first point of contact for brands onsite and respond to phone calls, Slack messages or emails in the event of an emergency or site issue.
- Maintain regular and effective communication with brands and colleagues.
- Respond to onsite enquiries and ensure efficient, rapid resolution of reported issues.
- Attend weekly meetings, promptly report key issues to the Head of Operations, and update relevant platforms once required tasks are completed.
- Complete onboarding and offboarding so that the entry and exit of new members is delivered within the required time frame and in accordance with legal requirements applicable to industrial kitchens.
- Complete the induction process for new onboardings and ensure site rules are clearly understood.
- Complete the offboarding process for brands exiting the facility.
Pay: £35,000\.00 per year
