Operations Manager
Equans is looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Bristol on a permanent basis. This is a full\-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, car allowance, bonus and benefits package.
The Operations Manager will cover 3 sites, supporting the Account Manager in delivering operational excellence through performance, compliance and risk management, financial and commercial control, contractor and stakeholder management, and lifecycle delivery.
The post holder will deliver FM services in line with contract specifications. Managing the day\-to\-day operations across the sites and managing one supervisor. They will lead on reactive and planned maintenance and drive service performance, quality and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is proactive, and has previous operational management experience, previous experience with data and reporting, management of KPI’s and SLA’s, team and stakeholder management.
What will you deliver?
- Ensure full compliance with Statutory requirements, NHS/HTM guidance (where applicable) and Health \& Safety and Permit to Work systems
- Maintain compliance trackers, audit readiness (AIMS, Internal/external audits) and fire safety and water safety compliance support
- Manage contract budgets, costs and financial performance
- Deliver cost efficiencies and maximise profitability
- Oversee variations and additional works, quotation and tender submissions, PO, invoicing, WIP, GRIR and financial tracking.
- Support commercial discussions and resolution of financial queries
- Manage subcontractors to ensure Compliance with contract requirements, safe systems of work and timely delivery of services
- Coordinate PPM schedules, corrective works and quotations and delivery timelines
- Maintain contract performance monitoring systems and produce monthly, quarterly and annual client reports.
- Monitor PPM completion, backlog and remedial works, KPI and SLA performance
- Ensure effective use of systems including Maximo (or CAFM system) and Procurement platforms (e.g. Coupa/ePROC)
- Identify and implement operational improvements
- Contribute to contract strategy, lifecycle planning and asset management
