Devoy’s Hotel is seeking an experienced, energetic Operations Manager to lead the day\-to\-day operation of our growing hospitality destination. This is a hands\-on senior role for someone who enjoys being close to the guest experience, developing strong teams and turning a busy service into a polished one.

With Restaurant 1640, Eliza Restaurant, our café, bars, functions and events all under one roof, no two days will be the same. You will work closely with the Management, Directors, Head Chef and department managers to bring consistency, pace and personality to every part of the operation.

What you’ll own

• The smooth daily running of all food, beverage, events and guest\-facing operations.


• Visible floor leadership during busy services, functions and peak trading periods.


• Consistent guest service, presentation, cleanliness and operational standards.


• Leadership and development of department managers, supervisors and the wider team.


• Commercial controls including sales, payroll, stock, waste, gross profit and productivity.


• Strong planning, communication and handovers across front of house, kitchen and support teams.


• Compliance with food safety, allergen, licensing, fire safety and health and safety requirements.


• Fast, professional resolution of guest concerns and operational challenges.

• Senior management experience in a quality hotel, large restaurant, venue or multi\-outlet hospitality business.


• Strong food and beverage knowledge, including bars, functions and events.


• A track record of leading managers and building engaged, accountable teams.


• Commercial confidence with rotas, forecasting, labour, stock and operating results.


• A calm, practical approach and the confidence to make decisions during busy service.


• Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.


• The flexibility required for a senior hospitality role, including evenings and weekends.

• A key leadership role with genuine influence over how the hotel operates and grows.


• A varied, fast\-moving environment across distinctive food, beverage and event spaces.
