We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our existing cleaning contracts while supporting the mobilisation and growth of new contracts across Scotland.

This is a key leadership role within our business, responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining strong client relationships, supporting business growth, and leading our teams to deliver exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities

● Manage the day\-to\-day delivery of existing commercial and specialist cleaning contracts.

● Mobilise and oversee new contracts, ensuring a smooth transition from award to operational delivery.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

● Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality checks.

● Manage supervisors, team leaders, and cleaning operatives.

● Recruit, train, and develop cleaning staff as the business grows.

● Ensure staffing levels are effectively managed across all contracts.

● Resolve operational issues quickly and professionally.

● Maintain compliance with Health \& Safety regulations, COSHH requirements, and company procedures.

● Monitor contract performance, labour costs, and profitability.

● Identify opportunities to grow revenue within existing contracts.

● Assist with site surveys, quotations, and tender submissions.

● Support the company’s growth strategy by helping secure and successfully implement new business opportunities.

About You

● Proven experience in a Cleaning Operations Manager, Area Manager, or Facilities Management role.

● Strong operational and people management skills.

● Experience managing multiple sites and contracts simultaneously.

● Excellent client relationship and communication skills.

● Commercially minded with the ability to identify growth opportunities.

● Strong organisational and problem\-solving abilities.

● Full UK Driving Licence essential.

● Experience within commercial, industrial, construction, or specialist cleaning sectors preferred.
