Our Operations function plays a central role in ensuring the firm runs efficiently and effectively. Working closely with the Leadership Team, this role will help drive operational excellence, support business performance and contribute to the delivery of long\-term strategic objectives.
The Opportunity: Operations Manager We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to join our team in Lewes. This is a varied and integral role, providing operational leadership across the firm and ensuring the smooth running of key business functions.
Working closely with the Managing Director and wider Leadership Team, you will play a key role in driving performance, improving efficiency and supporting the continued growth of the firm.
Your Role Will Involve:
Managing operations on a tactical level.
- Developing and implementing operational strategies aligned to the firm’s business plan and long\-term objectives.
- Delivering firm wide initiatives and continuous improvement activity, working closely with the Managing Director and Leadership Team.
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators to support service delivery and business performance.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline processes and enhance operational effectiveness across the firm.
- Overseeing the day\-to\-day management of operational teams, including Facilities, Marketing, Training and Systems support teams.
- Ensuring commercial contracts are effectively managed and reviewed with relevant stakeholders.
- Being responsible for the firms Health and Safety processes.
- Supporting business planning and contributing to the firm’s long\-term development.
- Promoting a positive organisational culture, ensuring alignment with the firm’s values and encouraging collaboration across teams.
- Leading, coaching and developing team members, setting clear objectives and supporting performance and engagement.
- Supporting teams through organisational change and driving engagement across the firm.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high performing teams
- A strategic mindset, with the ability to contribute to business planning and deliver operational improvements
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong analytical skills, with experience of monitoring and reporting on performance metrics
- Confident communicator, able to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders
- A collaborative and proactive approach, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to drive change and support teams through periods of transition
- High levels of professionalism, discretion and sound judgement
