Operations and Logistics Administrator

We are seeking an organised and proactive Operations \& Logistics Administrator to join our organisation. To provide administrative support for logistics operations by coordinating routing, maintaining system accuracy, and ensuring compliance to enable efficient and profitable delivery of services.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1\. Constant management of the CRM system on a day to day basis ensuring that job completion is optimal and providing live feedback to the operations and sales teams

2\. Review of jobs on a day to day basis providing closure in preparation for invoicing. Ensuring accuracay at all times

3\. Assist in the Management and maintenance the company fleet, vehicles and machinery in line with all legal requirements. (this includes road tax, MOT’s, maintenance schedules, defects, scales calibration). This includes a weekly visual check every Friday on the state of all Shredall Nottingham company vehicles.

4\. Generate/facilitate profitbality reports of routes and maximise revenue of each route on a daily basis.

5\. Book in and schedule jobs through the Big Change CRM system. Use the CRM system to generate reports and present to management.

6\. Organise and book travel and accommodation for the Drivers, ensuring efficiency of travel time and cost.

7\. Continually review Sub contracted work and focus on what can be done in house and what works are more profitbale subbed and provide paperwork to rquired customers.

8\. Ensure sign off and completion of vehicle maintenance by all drivers on a daily basis to ensure all drivers are completing their pre\-drive checks

9\. Assist in the operational responsibility for matters of environment, health \& safety at all times, including the completion of any forms or documentation which may support either e.g. spillage report forms, accident books, etc.

10\. Adherence to stated policies and procedures relating to quality management, health and safety, and the environment, eg. reporting of non\-conformances (blips) for continuous improvement activities. (Alongside Admin assistant)

11\. Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.

Person Specification:

Operational and/or Planning and Routing experience; Good communications skills; IT skills (Microsoft Office and scheduling software); Some hands\-on management experience preferred; Knowledge of health and safety requirements preferred; Flexibility.
