Operations and Duty Manager – Turbary House Leisure Park
Location: Turbary House Leisure Park, Preston
Rate of Pay: £14\.00 per hour
Hours: Minimum of 32 hours per month, with additional hours available during weekends, school holidays and peak periods. Regular weekend working is required.
Working Pattern: Weekend and school holiday working

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands\-on Operations Manager to oversee the day\-to\-day running of the park. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading people and ensuring customers have an exceptional experience.
The successful candidate will deliver activities, maintaining high standards and helping the business continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all activities are delivered safely and in accordance with operating procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues professionally.
- Open and close the site.
- Carry out safety checks and ensure facilities and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
- Manage activity schedules.
- Maintain accurate records and complete basic administration tasks.
- Support marketing initiatives and special events.
- Working with the Directors, generate sales through local marketing campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and company policies.
- Maintain and help develop site and activity infrastructure.
- Help identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and grow the business.
Essential
- Previous experience in operations, hospitality, leisure or customer\-facing environments.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a small team.
- Practical, hands\-on approach with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and school holidays.
- Applicants should be able to work independently, take responsibility for site opening and closing, supervise activity sessions, and undertake regular weekend and school holiday working.
- Experience in outdoor leisure, attractions or activity centres.
- Archery GB Instructor Award
- First Aid qualification.
- Health and Safety knowledge.
- Social media or marketing experience.
- £14 per hour.
