Operations AdministratorOverview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Administrator to support the day\-to\-day activities of a busy Operations team.Our client are a leading manufacturer and installer of fire doors working on large scale projects throughout the UK. This role is key to ensuring the smooth coordination of projects, site activities, documentation, and communication between internal departments and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Operations Managers and the wider team.
- Coordinate schedules, job allocations, and site diaries.
- Maintain accurate project records, documentation, and operational data.
- Track purchase orders, work orders, deliveries, and project milestones.
- Manage drawings, approvals, correspondence, and other project documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure effective communication and information flow.
- Assist with reporting, audits, and compliance documentation.
- Respond to operational and customer queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and general business administration.
RequirementsEssential
- Previous experience in an administration or operations support role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
Desirable
- Experience within passive fire protection, fit out, construction, engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance sectors.
- Knowledge of project coordination, scheduling, or operational systems.
