Operations & Account Manager
Job Description
BN Drainage Ltd is a growing and well\-established drainage company based in Beckenham, Kent. We are looking for an experienced Account \& Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing client relationships and coordinating our field engineers.
This is a fast\-paced, hands\-on role suited to someone who is highly organised, confident managing people, and experienced in client account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop client accounts (residential and commercial)
- Act as the main point of contact for customers
- Schedule and manage engineers’ daily workloads
- Allocate jobs to engineers and monitor progress
- Ensure efficient job completion and high service standards
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and customer enquiries
- Prepare and send quotations and follow up where required
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
- Resolve customer queries and operational issues quickly
- Support improvements to systems and processes
- Previous experience in account management or operations management
- Experience managing or scheduling engineers or field teams
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Experience within drainage, construction, or trades (preferred but not essential )
- £40,000 per year salary basic salary
- Full\-time, permanent position
