About the Role
We are looking for an organised, computer\-literate and proactive individual to join our team in Gloucester. This full\-time, office\-based role combines front\-of\-house reception duties with day\-to\-day office management. As the central hub of our workplace, you will be the first point of contact for visiting clients while keeping our daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk \& Reception
- Welcome visitors, manage the sign\-in process and offer refreshments.
- Answer incoming calls, handle general enquiries and route messages efficiently.
- Manage incoming post and deliveries.
- Oversee day\-to\-day office operations, ensuring the workplace remains tidy, well\-stocked and fully functional.
- Monitor and order office supplies, stationery and kitchen essentials.
- Act as the main on\-site point of contact for building facilities, cleaning staff and contractors.
- Manage digital calendars, meeting room bookings and video conferencing set\-ups.
- Assist with core administrative tasks, data entry, document formatting and onboarding preparation for new starters.
- Process and pay supplier invoices and provide occasional support with social media content and posting.
- Strong computer literacy: confident navigating computers and online platforms, with a good working knowledge of standard workplace tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams).
- Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication with a warm, professional manner.
- Full on\-site availability: reliable and able to work full\-time from our Gloucester office.
- Organisation: outstanding multitasking ability with a proactive, self\-motivated mindset.
- Experience: previous experience in reception, customer service or administration is preferred.
- Background checks: This role requires Security Clearance (SC). Employment is subject to successful SC clearance, which typically requires candidates to have resided continuously in the UK for the past 5 years.
