Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Office Administrator with excellent customer service skills to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organisational and communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily administrative operations, raising invoices / PO's, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth office functioning. Prior experience in sales administration and proficiency with various IT tools are highly desirable. Preference will be given to someone who has experience of working in a busy engineering business, and can multi\-task organising flow of materials, logistics etc.

Duties

  • Manage and maintain customer records using software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

  • Assist with sales administration tasks, including processing orders and invoicing

  • Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word

  • Handle incoming emails, providing exceptional customer service and support

  • Support general administrative functions such as filing, data entry, and document management with computer literacy

  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless communication across the organisation

  • Maintain organised office supplies inventory and coordinate procurement as needed
Qualifications
  • Proven administrative experience with strong organisational skills

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Experience with software is advantageous

  • Strong computer literacy and IT skills to adapt to various software platforms

  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks efficiently

  • Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and problem\-solving abilities

  • Organisational skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast\-paced environment

Pay: £24,420\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
