NEW VACANCY: We are recruiting for an EXPERIENCED ocean import clerk who has worked for a freight forwarder and has strong understanding of import processes and customs entries, previous experience of CDS customs system is a required.

You will be processing ocean freight import shipments from start to finish, creating files and updating customers throughout.

Duties include:

  • Booking hauliers & liaising with 3rd party transport providers

  • Completing import customs entries for sea freight on CDS

  • Invoicing and billing of shipments

  • Quotes where required or passing any potential new business quotes to the sales team

  • Customer service

Salary range £30k - £33k
