This is an exciting opportunity to join NHS Fife Occupational Health as an Occupational Health Staff Nurse, delivering a high\-quality service that supports the health, safety and wellbeing of staff within NHS Fife and partner organisations.

The role offers a varied caseload across a broad range of occupational health activity. You will support pre\-placement health screening, immunisation programmes, venepuncture, health surveillance, blood borne virus exposure management, and other core occupational health services, working closely with colleagues to ensure safe, effective and person\-centred service delivery.

As a key member of the Occupational Health nursing and wider multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to a comprehensive Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service during a period of continued development. We are looking for a registered nurse with strong clinical skills, a flexible approach and a genuine interest in occupational health. Qualifications

Registered nurse with a live NMC UK pin.

Experience

Significant Post registration experience

Strong clinical nursing skills and an interest in developing a career in occupational health.

Essential skills and requirements for the role

Excellent communication, assessment and organisational skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach

Ability to adapt to changing service demands

Commitment to safe, effective and person\-centred service delivery

It would be great if you also have

Experience in venepuncture and immunisation would be beneficial, although training and support will be provided.

Location and Working Pattern

This role will be based primarily at Willow Drive Clinic, with flexibility to travel across Fife and occasionally beyond as required. Clinic hours are 8\.30am to 4\.30pm. Please note that salary will be pro rata for part\-time hours.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full\-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro\-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
