As our Operations and Maintenance (O\&M) Sales Manager, you will focus on identifying and securing new O\&M contracts, building strong relationships with asset owners and investors, and promoting value\-added service offerings.
Key duties include scouting for new opportunities, developing sales strategies, preparing technical and commercial proposals, leading negotiations, and supporting the transition from O\&M sales to O\&M execution.
The position requires close collaboration with the technical team to ensure competitive, high\-quality service solutions and sustained portfolio expansion. You will be reporting to the Country Technical Manager in Italy and will be closely cooperating with the O\&M Team Leader. The place of work can be chosen between Milan and Verona.
You can look forward to the following tasks:
Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the O\&M portfolio for utility\-scale solar plants
- Build and maintain relationships with asset owners, IPPs and investors
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial O\&M proposals tailored to client needs and RFQs
- Lead contract negotiations and close O\&M service agreements
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth targets
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and potential leads
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to define competitive service offerings
- Support project handover from O\&M Sales to execution of O\&M contracts
- Manage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
- Ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling or cross\-selling opportunities within existing accounts
- Stay updated on regulatory, technological, and market developments in the solar PV sector
- Acquire excellent knowledge of all contractual requirements and support the O\&M team in any contractual queries
- Act as the first point of contact for the clients regarding any contractual or commercial issues
- Negotiate with the clients any additional work / variation orders, manage quotations \& invoicing
- Manage any claims from the clients
- Budgeting \& Forecasting (including monthly budget tracking)
- Manage relations with suppliers and O\&M subcontractors

You impress us with these qualifications:
- At least 3 years’ experience managing sales of O\&M or EPC services for PV plants
- At least 3 years’ experience in managing O\&M of PV plants or other powerplants
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and close deals against targets
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Energy, or equivalent) or Business with strong technical exposure
- Strong commercial mindset with experience in client acquisition and relationship management
- High motivation to quickly learn the utility\-scale PV O\&M business and market dynamics in Italy
- Technical understanding of PV technology and O\&M Contracts
- Results\-oriented and self\-driven, with a strong hunter mentality
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to engage with different stakeholders (technical and non\-technical)
- Structured approach to pipeline management and opportunity tracking
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Availability to travel within Italy
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, “build\-from\-scratch” attitude
- Valid driver’s license
