The Role
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team in Romford. This is a key leadership role within a vibrant community setting, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of early childhood education and care while fostering a positive and inclusive environment for children, staff, and families. SALARY IS NEGOTIABLE ON EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the day\-to\-day operations of the nursery, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards


• Support, mentor, and develop staff through coaching, training, and performance management


• Maintain exceptional standards of safety, hygiene, and quality of care


• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers, promoting a family\-centred approach


• Oversee the delivery of the curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework


• Manage administrative duties including budgeting, staffing, and resource planning


• Foster a positive team culture that supports collaboration and professional growth


• Ensure effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders

About You

• Proven experience in managing or leading a nursery or early years setting


• Strong leadership and organisational skills


• Excellent communication skills in English


• In\-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant regulations


• Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team


• A genuine passion for early childhood education and high standards of care
