Accounts Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in various accounting software platforms, including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, and other financial management tools. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead financial processes, mentor team members, and contribute to the organisation’s overall financial health. The successful applicant will have a solid background in financial services, accounting software, accounts payable, and financial accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s financial accounts, including customer and supplier accounts, and monitors all business transactions.


• Monitor operational costs, supplier payments, and customer outstanding balances to support efficient and profitable business operations.


• Maintain accurate records of sales invoices, supplier invoices, receipts, and financial transactions.


• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and business performance reports for senior management.


• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies or account\-related issues promptly.


• Develop strategic account relationships to support business growth and increase overall sales performance.

• Proven experience in financial services or a similar role with a strong understanding of financial management principles.


• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or equivalent platforms.


• Solid knowledge of financial accounting processes including accounts payable, receivables, and general ledger management.


• Experience with analysing complex financial data and preparing detailed reports.


• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast\-paced environment.


• Excellent mentoring skills with a proactive approach to team development.


• Attention to detail coupled with a high level of accuracy in all work outputs.

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
