East London | £30,000–£45,000 DOE | Full-Time |

A proper first role after qualification: your own files, experienced people nearby and enough support that “development” does not simply mean being left alone with a completion statement.

An established East London law firm is looking for a Newly Qualified Residential Property Solicitor to join its growing property team. You will work on a varied conveyancing caseload, initially with close supervision before taking increasing responsibility as your confidence develops.

You will work across:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases


• Remortgages and transfers of equity


• New-build and shared-ownership transactions


• Title investigations, searches and enquiries


• Drafting contracts and transfer documentation


• Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and other solicitors


• SDLT, Land Registry and post-completion requirements

You

You will be a Newly Qualified Solicitor or approaching qualification, ideally with a residential property seat or strong conveyancing experience gained as a paralegal or trainee.

You should be organised, commercially aware and comfortable communicating with clients. You do not need to arrive as the finished article, but you should be keen to become one.
