What You’ll Do

<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Serve as a client/prospect facing insurance professional for large, complex construction accounts</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Design and negotiate insurance programs, including coverage analysis and risk-related consulting</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Manage renewals with a high degree of autonomy</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, wholesalers, Producers and clients</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Attend pre-renewal meetings to develop renewal strategy and address exposure changes</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Participate in new business planning and update meetings with Producers and Sales Leaders</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Negotiate renewal terms with carriers and review quotes for accuracy and intent</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Prepare and submit applications, proposals and supporting documentation to markets</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Bind coverage within company guidelines and ensure accurate documentation in internal systems</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Train, mentor and delegate work to Placement Support team members</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Identify cross-sell and account-rounding opportunities to support retention and growth</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Serve as a subject matter resource to colleagues on coverage, markets and processes</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Participate in new business development activities, including occasional travel</li>

What We’re Looking For

<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">5+ years of insurance marketing, placement or brokering experience (construction-focused)</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Strong understanding of the New York construction insurance marketplace</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Proven ability to manage large, complex accounts with limited oversight</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of accountability and ownership</li>

What You’ll Bring
<ul>

<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a commercial insurance agency (marketing and/or client service)</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Active Property & Casualty License</li>
<li style="color: rgb(13, 11, 1); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Commitment to maintaining required continuing education</li>
