Come and take charge of a dedicated team and drive performance. Our Night shift typically Tuesday to Saturday starting around 23:00 dependant on volumes.
Our Night Shift Manager is a key role to ensure the smooth running of the Night operation in the Depot; where you will lead teams of Supervisors, Night Loaders, Sorters and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sites in to smaller geographic areas to be delivered to the final customer. The Nightshift Manager is fully accountable for the performance of the shift whilst proactively seeking ways to improve cost, service \& operational efficiency.

- Manage all areas of the night warehouse sortation in an efficient cost\-effective manner.
- Ensuring depot key KPI’s are achieved e.g. sortation compliance, Vehicle Departure times etc.
- Budget Management to achieve the agreed service levels including productivity, labour costs, overtime usage, Agency usage.
- To lead, coach and develop the supervisors on shift.
- To adhere to the legal requirements of the ‘O’ Licence.
- Transport knowledge, skills or experience including regulations
- Management experience of leading and managing a team.
- Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines
- PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Experienced of working in fast\-paced logistics
- Good communicator and able to liaise at all levels
