Night Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team\-orientated OOH Nurse to join our team at Rowe Vets on a full\-time basis.
Rowe Vets, Bradley Stoke is a busy 24\-hour veterinary hospital and referral centre based in Bristol and can offer the most advanced treatment options available for orthopaedic, soft tissue, ophthalmology and internal medicine cases. We have all imaging facilities with access to MRI.
We have dedicated team of Referral clinicians, RVNs and Support teams \& you would be working alongside a dedicated OOHs team. As part of our team, you will be providing high quality nursing care to a variety of cases in all disciplines \& support our referral cases.
How You’ll Make a Difference

As a OOH Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high\-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.
Working as part of our out\-of\-hours and hospital team, you will be responsible for providing overnight care to inpatients, monitoring patients, supporting emergency cases and ensuring the hospital operates safely and effectively throughout the night.
Working Pattern
- 38\.5 hours per week
- Monday\-Sunday 8pm \- 8am working 7 on 7 off
- Providing high\-quality nursing care to hospitalised patients overnight
- Ensuring patients are comfortable and their needs are met throughout the night
- Supporting emergency and critical care cases
- Monitoring and assessing patients, recognising changes in condition and escalating concerns appropriately

We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You’ll bring:
- Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
- A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
