We are currently inviting applications for a full\-time Night Porter position to join the Front Office team at Sheen Falls Lodge.

Scope General Purpose of Job

To care for the guests and property of Sheen Falls Lodge throughout the night.

Reporting to: Head Porter

Responsibilities:

• Service of food and beverage items as requested at night.


• Oversee Reception office – answering phones and queries


• Cleaning of front of house areas;


• Managing any difficult incidents that may occur with the assistance of the Duty Manager, when necessary.


• Be responsible for and aware of fire safety, the evacuation system, and safe handling of fire, in case of emergency, while on duty


• Responsible for the security of the hotel at all times, both in terms of access to the hotel and hotel property while on duty.

Minimum 2\+ years of experience in a similar position.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hospitality, ideally in a 4\* or 5\* hotel environment.


• Must possess excellent guest service and communication skills.


• Must have fluent English, both oral and written, and a full legal status to work in Ireland.


• Ideally, have a full, clean EU or Irish driver's licence.
