Night Porter

\-Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist late\-arriving guests in a friendly and professional manner


• Carry out guest check\-ins and check\-outs during night hours


• Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and hotel property throughout the night


• Conduct regular security and fire safety checks


• Set up conference rooms and function areas for events and breakfast service


• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas


• Handle guest requests efficiently and professionally


• Assist with luggage and porter duties when required


• Complete night audit procedures and relevant reports


• Respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents


• Work closely with the Night Manager and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations

Requirements

• Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred


• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Good organisational and problem\-solving abilities


• Fluent English essential


• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Leaving Certificate (preferred)
