Night Care Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high\-quality support to individuals in a care home setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming


• Support clients with mobility and daily activities, promoting independence where possible


• Follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs of each client


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition


• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the wider care team to ensure coordinated support


• Support clients with basic health monitoring as required


• Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients at all times


• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided


• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written


• Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism when supporting clients


• Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.


• Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow care plans accurately


• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues

Pay: £12\.81 per hour
