Night Care Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well\-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to delivering high\-quality care. 8pm till 8am is the shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, personal hygiene dressing, and meal preparation.


• Support the implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.


• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.


• Foster a positive environment by engaging clients in social activities and promoting their independence.


• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.


• Drive clients to appointments or social outings as required, ensuring their safety during transport.


• Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.


• A good command of English is necessary for effective communication with clients and team members.


• Proficiency in IT systems is preferred for maintaining records and documentation.


• Strong interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and their families.

Pay: Up to £12\.71 per hour
