Night Auditor

Hours: 22:45 \- 07:15 (40 hours per week)

Purpose of the role:

· To be accountable for delivering a fully accurate night audit

· To be an ambassador for the hotel ensuring the highest service standards are consistently delivered throughout the night shift

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• · To help the night team in providing a warm and personal welcome for all guests arriving at night, contributing to guest satisfaction and providing a high standard of service


• · To create an excellent first and lasting impression for all our guests


• · To anticipate guests needs and to always exceed their expectations


• · To be fully versed with all fire evacuation procedures and operating the fire panel


• · To have an excellent knowledge of all hotel facilities


• · To have an excellent knowledge of all reception procedures


• · To oversee the night audit and cashing up of all outlets


• · To check all billing is correct and take any sales ledger payments in preparation for next morning’s checkouts


• · To deliver a fully accurate night audit


• · To ensure all payments balance prior to night audit


• · To report any issues to the Financial Controller


• · To carry out fire \& security walks throughout the night


• · To oversee the preparation and delivery of room service orders


• · To assist other departments according to night business needs


• · To prepare the hotel for the next day’s business by ensuring that all public areas are immaculately presented, clean and set up for the following day


• · To ensure all billing is accurate and all revenue is captured


• Any other duties as reasonably required by the Duty Manager/ Night Manager

Key Requirements Proactive approach / Attention to detail / Demonstrate initiative/ Absolute professionalism at all times / Ability to be self\-motivated/ Must be minimum 18 years of age (in order to serve alcohol)

Skills and Experience Previous hotel experience / strong IT skills
