Who are we:
Extruflex, a global leader in flexible PVC solutions, is looking for a proactive and results\-driven Business Developer to grow our Industrial PVC Fabrics \& Films portfolio in the UK and targeted export markets.
This role focuses on Coatflex PVC\-coated industrial fabrics and Finevinyl calendared PVC films, targeting sectors such as industrial doors, rapid doors, tarpaulins, lorry curtains, marine, and other technical applications.
You’ll be responsible for identifying and winning new business, expanding distributor and OEM networks, and positioning Extruflex as the supplier of choice in priority markets.
What You’ll Do \- Key responsibilities :
- Drive sales growth by securing new customers (be a hunter)
- Expanding existing accounts to continue growth .
- Execute targeted market\-entry strategies for high\-potential sectors.
- Maintain accurate and timely CRM updates in Pipedrive to track opportunities, forecasts, and activities.
- Monitor competitor activity and feed insights back to the business.
- Work closely with internal teams to align product availability, quality, and promotions with market needs.
- Visit the UK office (based in Newport Gwent) at least once per month dependant on your location.
- 5\+ years in sales \& business development (experience in industrial fabrics, coated technical textiles, or flexible PVC products preferred but not essential).
- Proven track record in opening new markets, new customers and developing strategic accounts.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship\-building skills.
- Self\-motivated, target\-driven, and comfortable working remotely.
- Base Salary: £38,000–£40,000/year
- Bonus Structure: 30% performance\-based bonus (already in place)
