Looking for a LAN - Wireless Network Engineer fully remote anywhere in Romania.
Primary Skills
- Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless network solutions
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, cloud, and infrastructure
- Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and transformation initiatives
- Maintain documentation for network configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with client-specific security and regulatory standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and stakeholders
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or support roles
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, etc.)
- Experience with network hardware (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, etc.)
- Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Ability to work with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
