Profix SW Ltd is a growing facilities and property maintenance company providing planned, reactive and emergency maintenance services to commercial, retail, residential and industrial clients.
Due to continued growth and an expanding client base, we are looking for an experienced Multi\-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across different trades, fault finding, problem solving and delivering a high standard of workmanship.
The Role
As a Multi\-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will attend a range of planned and reactive maintenance jobs across our client portfolio.
No two days are the same. You may be attending an emergency repair in the morning, carrying out planned maintenance later in the day and completing minor building repairs or remedial works at another site.
Typical duties may include:
- General reactive property maintenance
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Tap, toilet, cistern and waste repairs
- Leak investigation
- Drainage investigation and minor blockages
- Door and lock repairs
- Ironmongery replacement
- Carpentry repairs
- Kitchen and bathroom repairs
- Minor flooring repairs
- Fencing and external repairs
- Minor roofing and gutter repairs
- Making good and basic finishing works
- Minor electrical works where suitably qualified
- Lighting and basic electrical fault investigation
- Fire door and general door repairs
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Property inspections
- Emergency repairs and call\-outs
- Identifying additional works required
- Providing information for quotations
- Completing clear digital job reports
- Taking before and after photographs
- Liaising professionally with clients, residents and site teams
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an experienced, practical and reliable maintenance engineer who is confident working independently.
You should have:
- Previous experience within property maintenance or facilities management
- Good all\-round practical maintenance skills
- Experience across more than one trade
- Strong fault\-finding and problem\-solving ability
- Good understanding of general building maintenance
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to complete accurate job reports
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Professional attitude when working on client sites
- Full UK driving licence

Our engineers work throughout the South West and surrounding areas servicing a growing portfolio of commercial, retail, residential and industrial clients.
Travel between sites forms an important part of the role, so applicants must be comfortable working across a wider geographical area.
