Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
We are looking to recruit an experienced Multi\-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) for immediate start and to join our team of engineers at our established print company in Normanton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer who wants a permanent role with a work life balance.
The role is to cover holidays within our maintenance department and when holiday cover is not required you will be scheduled to work a shift. More details to be discussed at the interview.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns across a wide range of production related equipment.
- Provide general Maintenance support
- Responsible for repairs of all equipment when required.
- Troubleshoot and fault find on a range of electrical and mechanical equipment
- Ensure compliance to all aspects of the company health and safety policy
- Follow health and safety protocols
- Working as part of a team as well as independently
- Multi \-skilled Maintenance Engineering with 70/30 electrical bias
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience of working in engineering and in a fast paced manufacturing/production environment
- HNC/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical/electrical engineering
- 17th/18th edition qualified
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Knowledge of providing both reactive \& preventative maintenance (PPM’s)
- Strong fault\-finding ability across both electrical \& mechanical breakdowns
- Positive attitude with ability to work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication
- Effective time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience of working in a fast\-paced manufacturing environment
- A sound working knowledge of Health and Safety compliance is essential
- Print Industry Experience \& Knowledge of working with Man Roland Web Presses, Komori Sheet fed presses and Muller Martini Bindery Equipment (would be advantageous)
Hours: Average 39 hours per week. 12 hour shifts (includes 1 x 30 minute paid break)
Shift Pattern: 3 on for 3 weeks and 4 on for 1 week. Rotating days \& nights. 06\.00am\-18\.00pm \& 18\.00pm\-06\.00am
