This role offers:
Recruitment \& Retention Payment of £3,500 per annum in addition to annual salary
On\-call allowance of £2 per hour
Enhanced rates of pay when attending a call\-out:
Before 6:00am and after 8:00pm on weekdays
All hours during weekends
Unsocial hours payments \| NHS Employers
Core hours are 8am\-4pm Monday\-Friday and there is an on call rota for 1 in 6 weeks (4pm\-8am Monday\-Friday, and 48 hours Saturday and Sunday).

Main duties, tasks \& skills required
As a Multi\-Skilled Maintenance Craftsperson with an electrical bias, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You'll be responsible for planned preventative maintenance, defect response, and emergency repairs across a wide range of hospital systems and infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
Perform electrical maintenance and repair in compliance with BS7671 and NHS HTM standards.
Support multi\-trade maintenance tasks including minor improvements and capital works.
Participate in an out\-of\-hours on\-call rota to respond to urgent maintenance issues.
Carry out inspections and commissioning tests, providing a reliable audit trail.
Operate the Building Management System (BMS) to monitor and control energy usage and equipment.
Liaise with contractors, manage safety risks, and ensure statutory compliance across all tasks.
