Job Title – HR and General Administrator
Reporting to – Directors
Purpose of role – to support the directors and provide excellent customer service. To become part of a close team to ensure smooth running of a busy and diverse business.
Main Tasks:
HR duties
· Maintenance of staff holiday and sickness records using Natwest Mentor system. Advise all staff on holiday and sickness entitlement.
· Produce and maintain timesheets and other record keeping documents
· Organise/Administer/record all staff Health \& Safety training on Natwest Mentor system
· HR – organise paperwork for all new starters, leavers and contract changes as necessary.
General Administration Duties
· Administration of internet web orders and Ebay confirming payments
· Process Sagepay and Paypal payments
· Dispatch goods sold on website using courier software packages according to the Company’s website guidelines.
· Assist with maintenance of website online shopping page, ie stock control, price updates etc.
· Liaising with carriers and freight forwarders as necessary to dispatch goods and deal with customer queries regarding non\-delivery.
· Manage purchasing of items including stationery, cleaning supplies, PPE and other items for the whole Company.
· Respond to incoming telephone calls and process orders for all products as necessary, ensuring they are processed and despatched in a timely manner.
· Accurate filing of customers’ orders and invoices as necessary.
· Work in the Willow Shop to cover lunch breaks and as required during busy periods, staff annual leave.
Other Duties
· To provide support to the Company Directors’ as required.
· To work with the administration team to contribute to the smooth running of the office.
· Provide cover for team members during periods of annual leave or sickness.
· To be responsible for own health and safety and that of other members of staff.
· Be responsible for own personal development.
Person Specification
· Proven IT skills – Excel, Word, Internet \& Email
· Proven ability in HR management(ideally using Natwest Mentor)
· Experience in customer service
· Experience in Retail sales/shop environment
· Accuracy and attention to detail
· Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
· Ability to work as part of the team
· Experience in using SAGE 50 Accounts
· Experience in general administration duties
Pay: £14\.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21\.5 per week
