Multi Skilled Engineer Electrical Bias

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineer \- Electrical Bias to join our team.

This is on a shift basis

Key Accountabilities:

• The ability to analyse and fault\-find electrical /mechanical systems to effectively and efficiently identify problems and implement solutions.


• Carry out machine improvements that will reduce downtime, increase efficiency, and reduce waste/cost.


• Carry out PPMs and repairs methodically and efficiently to the highest engineering and food safety standards.


• Accurately log all downtime and repair information on CMMS.


• Be able to demonstrate high attention to detail with good analytical and reporting skills.


• Ensure information is passed sufficiently between shifts, keeping the engineering and production colleagues informed regarding the progress of repairs.

• Time\-served Engineer, with proven experience \- Electrical biasis


• Educated to HNC level (or equivalent)


• Experience within food manufacturing, or similar within FMCG


• Be able to work under own initiative and with a range of colleagues


• Participate in Continuous Improvements activities, knowledge of 5S or lean principles is advantageous


• Effective communication skills


• Demonstrate a flexible approach to problem\-solving and be adaptable to changing work situations.


• Experience in SCADA and automated control systems desirable.


• IPAF and forklift training are desirable.
