McRent Dublin is seeking an experienced Rental Manager to lead and oversee our growing motorhome rental operation.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in vehicle rentals, motorhomes, fleet management, or a similar customer\-facing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day\-to\-day rental process, ensuring vehicles are prepared to a high standard, supporting customers throughout their journey, and maintaining smooth coordination between the rental, service, and administration teams.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the daily operations of the McRent Dublin rental fleet
Overseeing motorhome preparation for customer collection
Conducting and supervising vehicle handovers
Explaining vehicle features and ensuring customers feel confident before departure
Inspecting vehicles on return and recording any damage or issues
Managing rental damage reports, parts requirements, and follow\-up invoicing
Coordinating with the service team to ensure vehicles are maintained and rental\-ready
Maintaining the presentation and organisation of the rental fleet
Supporting customers before, during, and after their rental
Helping improve rental systems, processes, and customer communication
Taking ownership of the smooth running of the Dublin rental operation

Desired Experience

Previous experience in any of the following is highly desirable:

Motorhome or campervan rentals
Vehicle rental industry
Fleet management
Caravan or leisure vehicle dealerships
Automotive or mechanical environments
Customer service roles involving vehicle handovers
Managing a small team or day\-to\-day operations

Requirements

Full driving licence
Strong communication and organisational skills
Leadership ability and a hands\-on approach
Good attention to detail
Ability to manage customers, vehicles, and daily priorities
Practical problem\-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
