Job Title: Motorhome / HGV Mechanic
Location: Signature Motorhomes – Near Birmingham International Airport, UK
Hours: Full\-Time

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanic (motorhomes, HGV, or similar vehicles)


• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Experience with 12V / 240V systems (advantageous)


• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship


• Relevant automotive qualifications or certifications desirable

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our growing team. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our fleet of American motorhomes to ensure they meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and presentation for our customers.

This is a varied and hands\-on role offering the opportunity to work on unique, high\-specification vehicles within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and repairs on American motorhomes and HGV\-based vehicles


• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults


• Complete Pre\-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new RVs


• Carry out plumbing tasks, minor woodworking, and gas safety checks


• Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards


• Maintain accurate service and repair records


• Collaborate with colleagues to improve workshop efficiency


• Stay up to date with new technologies and industry developments
