We are seeking a dedicated Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our team at a Further Education (FE) College, delivering City and Guilds Motor Vehicle programs to students aged 16-19. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automotive education and eager to contribute to the development of the next generation of motor vehicle technicians.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver structured lessons on Motor Vehicle maintenance and repair across various levels (Entry Level to Level 2).


• Engage and inspire students aged 16-19 through practical and theoretical knowledge.


• Prepare lesson plans and materials, ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives.


• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.


• Maintain a safe and productive workshop environment.


• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold a teaching qualification.


• Experience in teaching Motor Vehicle courses or related subjects.


• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of automotive mechanics.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to motivate and maintain the interest of young learners.


• Commitment to professional development and staying updated with industry advancements.
