About the Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive, and customer\-focused Mortgage Case Manager to join our growing team.
As a Mortgage Case Manager, you will be responsible for managing mortgage applications from submission through to completion, ensuring cases progress efficiently and that clients, brokers, lenders, and solicitors receive timely and accurate updates throughout the process.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mortgage administration or case management experience who enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mortgage applications from submission through to completion.
- Liaise with lenders, brokers, clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other relevant parties.
- Monitor cases closely and ensure applications progress within required timescales.
- Review documentation and identify any outstanding information or potential issues.
- Chase outstanding documents, valuations, mortgage offers, and other requirements.
- Provide regular and clear updates to clients and relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure systems are kept up to date.
- Identify potential delays or issues and proactively work towards solutions.
- Ensure all cases are handled in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support advisers and the wider team with administration and case progression.
- Deliver a high level of customer service throughout the mortgage journey.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in mortgage administration, processing, or case management.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicating with clients and other parties.
- Able to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines effectively.
- Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of cases.
- Commercially aware with a strong understanding of the mortgage process.
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- A strong problem solver who can remain calm under pressure.
- Professional, approachable, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
- Previous experience within a mortgage brokerage, lender, bank, or financial services environment.
- Knowledge of residential mortgages and the UK mortgage application process.
- Experience dealing with lenders and mortgage networks.
- CeMAP or other relevant mortgage qualifications.
