We are seeking an exceptional Head of HR \& Support Services to join our Senior Management Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation.

This is a rare opportunity to lead across Human Resources, Facilities, Data Protection, Health \& Safety and Corporate Support Services, ensuring that our people, infrastructure and governance are ready to support ambitious growth and lasting impact.

As a trusted adviser to the Executive Director, Senior Management Team and Board, you will influence strategic decision\-making, champion organisational development and create the conditions that enable over 80 employees to deliver meaningful change across Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside.

You will help shape a high\-performing, inclusive and values\-driven culture where people feel supported, empowered and motivated to do their best work. From strengthening management capability and leading workforce strategy to overseeing business support functions and organisational compliance, your impact will be felt across every part of Groundwork.

Alongside strategic HR leadership, you will oversee key support services that underpin the organisation's success, ensuring compliance, managing organisational risk and driving continuous improvement across the charity. Your contribution will be significant, visible and felt throughout the organisation.

Who We're Looking For:
We're looking for a strategic, approachable and people\-focused leader who combines strong HR expertise with a practical and collaborative approach.

You will be equally comfortable advising senior leaders and trustees, coaching managers through challenging situations, leading organisational change and developing services that improve efficiency and performance.

Most importantly, you will have the ability to build trusted relationships, identify issues before they escalate and create solutions that support both people and organisational success. Hours of work: Full time, 36\.25 hours per week

Salary: £44,972 – £49,662

Permanent Contract
