Mobile Multi-Skilled maintenance engineer

Job Summary
We’re now looking for a Multiskilled Planned Maintenance Engineer to join our mobile team. This role is based in Dudley, but travel across the west midlands is required as and when the business needs. Some working away from home may also be necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of planned maintenance works across multiple trades – including:


• Carpentry


• Basic plumbing


• Patch plastering


• Painting \& decorating


• Tiling


• Minor electrical repairs


• Undertake testing of systems and installations (where competent) to ensure compliance with current building and safety regulations.


• Travel to sites across the midlands , completing works efficiently and to a high standard.


• Work in both occupied and void properties, maintaining a professional and tidy work environment.


• Communicate effectively with clients, tenants, and internal staff to coordinate works and resolve issues.


• Complete all job reporting and compliance records via mobile device or paperwork accurately and on time.


• Represent Redkite Property Services in a positive and professional manner at all times.


• Adhere to all relevant Health \& Safety legislation and company procedures.

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in multi\-trade property maintenance.


• Competent in testing systems to uphold safety and compliance standards (e.g. fire doors, emergency lighting, or water systems – training may be provided where needed).


• Comfortable with working within the west midlands.


• Strong problem\-solving ability and self\-motivation.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Full UK driving license – essential.


• Tools provided ( Own tools can be used as long as PAT tested and visually inspected )


• Trade qualifications and/or certifications in compliance\-related testing are a strong advantage.


• Basic IT skills for mobile reporting and job management.

Pay: £29,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
