We're looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team, delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of client sites. You'll play a key role in ensuring electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational while providing an excellent service to our customers.
Role Responsibilities* Carry out all aspects of electrical planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
- Complete testing, fault finding, repairs, and system diagnostics across electrical plant and equipment.
- Update maintenance records and work orders accurately using a PDA system.
- Use appropriate testing equipment and tools safely and effectively, understanding their limitations.
- Follow all health and safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements, and participate in toolbox talks.
Applicants must meet the below\-defined requirements for the role:
- Qualified to BS 7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, plant, controls, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, schematics, and procedures.
- A self\-motivated and organised approach to work.
- Strong problem\-solving and fault\-finding skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.
- Professional communication skills and confidence to raise safety concerns when required.
- Exposure to a variety of sites, equipment, and maintenance challenges.
