Role Summary:
As a CBRE Multi\-Skilled Engineer you willutilise your advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance andcorrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment andgrounds. Working under limited supervision, monitors building system operationsand performance. Utilising several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing,electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
Ensure that routinemaintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems to meetand exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements
Ensure that all relevante\-Logbooks, Service records, and safety documentation is compiled and recordedto ensure that the site is compliant at all times
Take ownership of allsites within your patch, and associated client relationships
Develop a fullunderstanding of sites containing Asbestos
Ensure that engineeringsupplies/spares stock levels are maintained and/or ordered in a timely mannerand are appropriate to the maintenance / reactive task being carried out to aidSLA targets for works completion
Respond to reactivemechanical, electric, plumbing and fabric repairs in accordance with SLA’s
Maintain domestic watersystems to comply with the requirements with L8
Carry out small plumbinginstallations and repairs
Supervising andmonitoring of sub\-contractors works whilst they are on site undertakingmaintenance, ensuring company processes and procedures are followed where thisapplies
Issue and ensureappropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems
Ensure that engineeringsubcontractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractualcommitments, and site operating processes
Work OOH (by agreement)to assist in the supervision of specialist maintenance and ad\-hoc activities –for which you will be paid at the overtime rate
Ensure that MethodStatements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out toensure safe working practices
Ensure the provision ofa safe \& healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with allCompany policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, proceduresand working arrangements, as required
Ensure that professionaland technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personaldevelopment and life\-long\-learning
To adhere to the localuniform requirements and comply with all PPE requirements, as outlined in thesite\-specific risk assessments
Proactively completebuilding inspections, reporting and rectifying any defects and hazards asappropriate
Ensure a professionalimage of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence incustomer service is always delivered and promoted, in line with Company RISEvalues
To proactivelycommunicate, both verbally and electronically, in order to receive instructionand provide feedback where necessary \- this includes daily checking ofindividual email accounts
Liaising with client ona variety of matters and attending to their needs whilst maintaining a strongworking relationship
Report to the Facilities/ Contract Manager on a daily/weekly basis, highlighting works outstanding
Experience Required:
Strongproven experience in Facilities Management and at least 3 years’ experience ofoperating within a high\-profile environment
Excellentcustomer service orientation
Goodunderstanding of customer complaint handling
Able todeal with people at all levels both within CBRE and the client organisation
Able towork under pressure, manage multiple priorities and to meet deadlines
Abilityto work on own initiative
Serviceorientated attitude with a flair for pro\-active problem solving to exceedcustomers’ expectations
Strongteam player within a customer service team environment
Literacywith Microsoft Outlook email, Word / Excel to intermediate level
Fluentin English, both verbal and written
