Purpose of Role
We’re recruiting for an experienced Mobile HVAC Engineer to join a dedicated facilities team supporting a national Shell forecourt contract.
Job Description
You’ll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs across commercial sites throughout London, Essex and Norfolk. This is a varied mobile role covering a wide range of air conditioning and HVAC systems, with the support of an established engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Carry out PPMs, servicing and reactive maintenance across commercial sites.
- Fault find, diagnose and repair a range of AC and HVAC systems.
- Work on Splits, VRF/VRV, AHUs, DX systems and associated plant.
- Complete remedial works, system upgrades and replacements.
- Carry out basic electrical fault finding.
- Complete F\-Gas documentation and maintain accurate job records.
- Provide professional customer service across Shell forecourt locations.
- Work independently while supporting other engineers and subcontractors when required.
- Proven experience as a commercial Air Conditioning/HVAC Engineer.
- Level 2 Air Conditioning \& Refrigeration – essential.
- F\-Gas Category 1 – essential.
- Strong experience with commercial AC systems, ideally including VRF/VRV.
- Good mechanical and electrical fault\-finding skills.
- 18th Edition desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to participate in an on\-call rota.
