We are seeking a Mobile Gas Engineer to provide commercial gas, heating, combustion and building services engineering maintenance across a variety of client properties within the designated region.
The role involves working on commercial and domestic gas systems, HVAC systems, fault finding, repairs, servicing and installation activities.
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled professional with commercial gas qualifications and experience in building services maintenance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works and callout support while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out commercial combustion, heating and HVAC planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works within agreed timeframes.
- Perform fault finding, repairs, servicing and installation on commercial and domestic gas systems.
- Undertake building services maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, fabric and related tasks.
- Participate in the callout rota and provide emergency response support as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas.
- Complete major and minor repair works and new installations on gas and heating systems.
- Diagnose and repair system and plant faults, including basic electrical fault finding.
- Monitor contractors, oversee workmanship, issue Permits to Work and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

- TPCP1A
- ICPN1
- CORT1
- CIGA1
- CCN1
- CENWAT1
- CPA1
- City \& Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical or a related Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Gas Safe Registered.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience in commercial gas, combustion and heating building services maintenance, including fault finding, maintenance and installation.
- Experience delivering reactive and PPM building services maintenance.
- Experience working within Facilities Management (FM) or building services environments across commercial properties.
- Experience working in accordance with strict health and safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
