Mobile Gas Engineer (Commercial)
Location: Wales (Based from HMP Cardiff – covering regional sites)
Contract: Permanent \| Full\-time 39 hours per week (08:00–17:00\) \+ 1 in 4 weekends (15% shift allowance)
Salary: £35,504 – £44,830 (depending on experience) \+ van \& fuel card Be part of something new

If you’re a skilled Gas Engineer or Plumber looking for variety, stability, and clear career progression, this role offers the opportunity to work across a small regional patch (approx. 6 sites), keeping essential facilities running safely and efficiently.
No two days are the same—but you’ll always have the backing of a well\-established contract and a company that invests in you. What you’ll be doing* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems
- Servicing and inspecting appliances, including combustion analysis \& testing
- Working on boilers, heaters, water systems and ventilation
- Supporting upgrades, installations and minor works
- Ensuring safe, compliant working in line with industry and site standards
- Experience working on commercial gas systems
- Strong fault\-finding and problem\-solving skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
