Role Description:
Smarta Energy is seeking a motivated and results\-driven Mid\-Market Energy Consultant to join our growing team in Leeds. This role is focused on driving business growth through new business development, lead generation, and account management while building and maintaining strong client relationships within the mid\-market sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the mid\-market sector
- Generating leads and building a strong sales pipeline
- Contacting prospective clients by phone, email and LinkedIn
- Understanding client energy needs, contract positions and procurement challenges
- Presenting Smarta Energy’s services and solutions clearly and confidently
- Managing the full 360 sales process from lead generation to close
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Negotiating with decision\-makers and closing new business deals
- Working with internal teams to support pricing, tenders and client onboarding
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and pipeline updates
- Hitting agreed sales targets, activity levels and revenue goals
- Experience in energy sales, business energy, utilities, or a similar B2B sales role
- Confident communicating with business owners, directors, and senior decision\-makers
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship\-building skills
- Comfortable managing the full sales process from lead generation to closing deals
- Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced, target\-driven environment
- Professional, organised, and commercially aware approach
