We're looking for exceptional, caring Support Workers to join our growing team in Shrewsbury, providing person\-centred support to adults within supported living and the local community.
If you're compassionate, proactive, patient, and confident supporting people who may have experienced trauma or face additional challenges in their daily lives, this could be the perfect role for you.
Pay \& Hours
- £12\.90 per hour
- Full\-time, part\-time and bank contracts available
- Early shifts, late shifts and optional sleep\-in shifts
- Alternate weekends
- Enhanced Bank Holiday rates
- Overtime opportunities available

About the Role
As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping people build confidence, develop independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference every day.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting with daily living tasks, including household duties, cooking and shopping
- Encouraging participation in hobbies, interests and community activities
- Assisting with appointments, routines and personal organisation
- Building positive, trusting relationships
- Promoting independence and supporting financial awareness
- Encouraging social connections and meaningful engagement
- Working within a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework
- Using initiative and dynamic risk assessment to support safe decision\-making
About You
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- A caring, compassionate and empathetic nature
- Experience supporting people who have experienced trauma and/or behaviours of concern
- A calm, patient approach and excellent communication skills
- Confidence to motivate others, plan activities and encourage independence
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
- A positive, proactive and reliable attitude
