We're looking for exceptional, caring Support Workers to join our growing team in Shrewsbury, providing person\-centred support to adults within supported living and the local community.

Pay \& Hours

  • £12\.90 per hour

  • Full\-time, part\-time and bank contracts available

  • Early shifts, late shifts and optional sleep\-in shifts

  • Alternate weekends

  • Enhanced Bank Holiday rates

  • Overtime opportunities available

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in helping people build confidence, develop independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference every day.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting with daily living tasks, including household duties, cooking and shopping

  • Encouraging participation in hobbies, interests and community activities

  • Assisting with appointments, routines and personal organisation

  • Building positive, trusting relationships

  • Promoting independence and supporting financial awareness

  • Encouraging social connections and meaningful engagement

  • Working within a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework

  • Using initiative and dynamic risk assessment to support safe decision\-making
Most importantly, you'll be helping people achieve the best possible quality of life, reach their goals, and thrive within their communities.

About You

  • Experience supporting people who have experienced trauma and/or behaviours of concern

  • A calm, patient approach and excellent communication skills

  • Confidence to motivate others, plan activities and encourage independence

  • A willingness to learn and develop professionally

  • A positive, proactive and reliable attitude
